Iridescent Dreaming — debut solo exhibition, Patanella Café, North Hobart

This was Kirsty’s first solo exhibition, held at Patanella Café in Hobart, Tasmania. She showcased a body of abstract paintings alongside colourful works inspired by stained glass. The exhibition, titled Iridescent Dreaming, drew on bright palettes and shifting tones that echoed the play of light through glass. The works referenced the bold colour fields and gestural abstraction of artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, and Mark Rothko, while channelling Kirsty’s own fascination with vivid hues and dreamlike forms.
