Kirsty’s goal is to elicit a personal connection with the Tasmanian landscape that people resonate with - making them realise its beauty and its uniqueness. She draws attention to how it was respected and maintained by the traditional custodians of the land. Her paintings are highly symbolic, as every piece holds deep meaning and hidden positive affirmations associated with being amongst nature.
‘I believe that creating something that has its own story and meanng is very special and my artworks tell the story of Tasmania and if someone resonates with it, it can uplift a space and mood whilst being a positive reminder of how nature should be valued by all.’
